You can use this tee cover with a 3" Dura-Vent Type B gas vent standard tee. To generate a 90 degree offset in the system, a tee cover is utilized to seal off one of the connections. The DuraVent system can be used with Category 1 natural or propane appliances, including fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and wall or space heaters. It has a 1" clearance to combustibles in both single-family and multi-family houses.
